Panda Express - 
Lunar New Year

For the Lunar New Year, Panda Express tasked us to create two films telling the legends involved in the Lunar New Year. The stories would be around 3-4 minutes long, and be geared towards educating kids while still involving the Panda Express branding. We settled on building the story around a pair of kids in a 3D world, with flash back style story sections in 2D.

I was involved with the project from the beginning, helping to come up with the story and drafting storyboards, all the way through to the end and compositing. A large part of the work for me was character design, but I also worked on storyboards and cel animation, as well as After Effects animation.
