Flying Papers
Every stoner's dream project. Flying Papers of Amsterdam, a full service website selling everything needed to roll a really nice joint, were looking for someone to animate all of their products in a fun, stylish way. They wanted it to look retro, while still being usable in code in order to incorporate it into their unique website design. In the end that meant I was able to animate a puff of smoke, tips, cones, papers, and grinders, starting off with hand drawn animation and polishing it off in After Effects with shape layers in a way that could be used in Bodymovin and Lottie.
Programs Used: Adobe After Effects, Bodymovin
Along with all of their products, Flying Papers also wanted their main mascot Fly to be shown in different scenes, including all of the moods and situations that someone might want to smoke a fat joint.
