Character Design Exercise

A well known company was looking to turn one of their most recognizable aspects into a character that could be used in a promotional animation, and possibly beyond. They weren't quite sure what they wanted, so I was given free range to explore multiple different styles, specifically from the 1960s and 70s. I went a little wild coming up with about a million different versions of this dude, and these are just a few.
