Asus - Art of the Duo

My favourite project to date! This set of videos included dragons, metal music, Akira, T-Pain, and a whole bunch of other weird stuff, which I had the pleasure and honor to bring together into a campaign. The laptop company Asus ran a contest where they paired animators with well known musicians, and as a team they had to create a series of films based on well loved video game genres.

We were paired with Herman Li, the amazingly talented guitarist of Dragon Force (if they sound familiar, check out the hardest song on Guitar Hero). I then storyboarded and designed all 4 films, and with the help of a team of other animators, animated them. We then had to post them and let the world decide who was better, Herman Li and Kingdom of Something, or T-Pain and Raphael Varona.
